Built because “post more and see what sticks” is not a strategy.
HitRadar started as an internal toolkit for answering one question honestly: before this video goes out, is there a specific, fixable reason it will fail?
The origin
The problem wasn’t a shortage of ideas — it was that failure was undiagnosable. Analytics report the outcome; nothing reports the cause. So the toolkit was built backwards from the research: take the structural rules that actually have evidence behind them, encode each one as a check that names itself when it fires, and make every threshold a number you can look up rather than a vibe the model had.
What it’s built on
Two content playbooks
Distilled into numbered, checkable rules — every threshold in the product traces to a specific section, not to a hunch.
A randomized headline archive of 22,666 tests
Where the best variant beat the worst by a median of 1.7× CTR — real effect sizes for the hook and title layer instead of guesses.
Open, auditable models
For transcription, embeddings, detection, and rubric scoring — chosen so the scoring can be inspected and reproduced rather than taken on faith.
Your own account history
Which outranks all of the above the moment there’s enough of it.
Principles
Say what you can’t know.
Every score ships with an accuracy class and its blind spot. A pre-publish score is a floor, never a promise.
Thresholds are opinions, and opinions get written down.
Every number lives in one file, is traceable to its source, and gets recalibrated against your account. None of it is buried in code.
Measure against you.
Global averages describe no one. Your trailing baseline describes you.
A score with no fix is decoration.
Every finding names the timestamp, the rule, and the change.
The loop is the product.
Anything you publish makes the next prediction better — on your channel, specifically.
Where it is now
HitRadar is in private beta. The analysis pipeline works end to end today; account baselines, trend mining, and breakout detection are rolling out through beta. Invites go out in signup order.
